Nonferrous metals contain either no iron or only insignificant amounts used as an alloy.
Some of the more common nonferrous metals Steelworkers work with are as follows: copper, brass; bronze, copper-nickel alloys, lead, zinc, tin, aluminium, and Duralumin. These metals are nonmagnetic.
Non-Ferrous Metals: Alloys
Brass (Copper+Zinc)
Yellow colour
Very ductile and malleable
Good tensile endurance

Bronze (Copper+Tin)
Dark yellow colour
More endurance than brass
Very corrosion resistant
Good sonority
Very fluid when melting, good for molding.

Aluminum, Copper & Magnesium
Lightness and more endurance than pure aluminum.

Magnesium & Aluminum
This alloy is more resistant than each metal.

Titanium & Aluminum
Cheaper than pure titanium parts.
