Direction of construction of various rooms in a residential house is as follows:-
Room-------------- Best in the direction of house
Kitchen----------- In south east direction if choosing alternate then in North west direction
Drawing Room/
Living Room --- In North west direction
Pooja Room ------ In North ,East or North east direction
Children Room --- In West direction
Study Room------ In North east,East or West direction
Guest Room ----- In North west direction
Bathroom---------- In Eastern portion
Toilet------------- In West or Northwest Portion
Basement --------- In Northern or Eastern Direction
Servant Room---- In Southeast or North west Portion
Store Room------- In Northwest Direction
Balcony------------ In eastern or Northern part
Parking------------- In Northwest direction and alternate is Southeast direction
Bore well------ ---- In North, East or North east direction
Underground Tank- In North east Direction
Overhead Water Tank- In West or North west Direction
Septic Tank------------ In north west direction
