FAR is Floor Area ratio = Total building construction area * divided by plot area

* In total building construction some area like balcony , staircase, lifts , common passage etc are free in calculation of FAR in JDA building by-laws 2010.

FAR is parameter govern by local authority to check space used in construction in a commercial, residential, institutional plots
