Vapour Retarders for Low Slope Roofs

•membrane in a protected membrane roof is also the vapour/air barrier

•other types of low slope roofs use two layers of asphalt saturated roofing felt bonded together and to the roof with hot asphalt

•polyethylene film not used as it melts

•situated on the warm side of the insulation
