All
Orrisan temple are built in
Indo-Aryan Style . The main structure in these temples are
Deul (bigger structure) and
Mandapa (Jagamohana).
The two other buildings are
Nat-Mandir (dancing hall) and
Bhog-Mandir (hall of offering).
The stones used were :
Chlorite for door-frames.
Laterite for the foundation staircase and the centre of the platform.
Khondalite used at the rest places.
The stones were smoothly finished and fitted together. They were laid horizontally, placed one upon another, and joined together with iron cramps and dowels.
