Roof insulation using Earthen pots - Manish Jain - 10-26-2018

The process followed in Roof insulation using Earthen pots is: 

1. Clean the roof surface thoroughly , no dust particle should be present  
2. Apply 4 - 5 mm of Epoxy based waterproofing with Fibre glass reinforcement 
3. Place inverted earthen pots (diameter - 7" and depth 3") on wet cement mortar (CementConfusedand ratio is 1:4)
3. Fill the void Void space between the earthen pot with mortar bed, till about mid of the pot.
4. Leave it curing for a day.
5. Finish the surface with 30 mm Cement Flooring (cement: sand: aggregate ratio is 1:2:4)

6. Make a 20 mm cement mortar bedding (cementConfusedand ratio is 1:4)
7. Lay it with China mosaic tiling.
8. Fill the joints in tiles with white cement slurry and wash the finished surface and clean with water
