hall or pillard pavillion of which the following are important type

ardha mandapa अर्धमंडप - 
Immediately before the santuary when larger then an antarala

gudha mandapa गूढमण्डप-  walled mandap

maha mandapa - main element of southern temple before vimana

magha mandap -  mutistorey space of jain temple
