TOILETS / SANITATION REQUIREMENTS for Schools and Educational Institutions
as par Indian Standards IS 1172 : 1993

Water closet (WC) Requirements : 
Nursery Schools  : 1 per 15 pupils(students) or part thereof 
Educational institutions (Non Residential) : For Boys : 1 per 40 pupils(students) or part thereof 
Educational institutions (Non Residential) : For Girls : 1 per 25 pupils(students) or part thereof 
Educational institutions (Residential) : For Boys : 1 per 8 pupils (students) or part thereof 
Educational institutions (Residential) : For Girls : 1 per 6 pupils (students) or part thereof
