RECOMMENDED PIPE SIZES FOR BRANCHES AND STACKS
as par Indian Standards SP 35-1987 HANDBOOK ON WATER SUPPLY AND DRAINAGE

MAXIMUM NUMBER OF FIXTURE UNITS THAT MAY BE CONNECTED To 100 MM Diameter PIPE

• Any horizontal fixture branch : 160 fixture 
  
• one stack of 3 storey in height or 3 intervals : 240 fixture 
  
• More than 3 storey in height total for stack : 500 fixture
  
• Total at one storey or branch interval : 90 fixture
