Wall Sheathing

Materials:

Typically – OSB or Plywood
Insulating Sheathing - (no structural qualities)



Sheathing Purposes:

Joins & stabilizes the structure
Resists uplift
Resists wracking- Resists lateral forces
Provides surface for finish material
