as par Indian Standards IS 1172 : 1993



Water closet (WC) Requirements


For Male public :  1 for 50 seats up to 200 seats; and for over 200 seats, add at the rate of 1 per 100 seats or part thereof
For Female public :  1 for 50 seats up to 200 seats; and for over 200 seats, add at the rate of 1 per 100 seats or part thereof



For Male Staff :          1 for 1 to 15 persons

                                  2 for 16 to 35 persons
                                  3 for 36 to 65 persons
                                  4 for 66 to 100 persons.....

For Female Staff :        1 for 1 to 12 persons
                                     2 for 13 to 25 persons
                                     3 for 26 to 40 persons
                                     4 for 41 to 57 persons.......
