Sustainability Guidelines for: SOCIAL SUSTAINABILITY
Avoid creating large concentrations of low-income social ‘ghettos’; Integrate low- income groups within larger mixedincome mixed-use communities.
Provide “Choices” in flexibility of design, use of space, availability of space, tenure, and location of low-income homes.
Involve low-income communities in rehabilitation process, and design and construction of their communities.
