The design follows a very austere geometry, respecting its dignity as an institution, which is carefully inter-woven with bold and playful elements that gives the school its vivacious character. The designing and planning of the school is an attempt to redefine the experience of the school by eliminating the monotony of a usual school with long corridors and uninteresting vistas.

The murals and art installations of the school like ‘the mosaic mural wall’, ‘the scrap arc’, ‘the puzzle façade’ and ‘the inverted tree’ are incorporated with a thought of creating a spark in the young minds.

The mundane approach of linear corridors, running along the class-rooms, becomes lively because of the elliptical stair-case and suspended bridges and these bridges create a visual connectivity with all the major parts of the school like the assembly hall, the class-rooms, thus increasing the sense of interaction among the students

The school building is located in a pollution free area of Makarba, Near S.G. Highway, Ahmedabad. It is spread over an area of over 26000 sq. mt. with a total built-up area of over 1, 10,000 sq. ft. A rambling campus in picturesque surrounding with lush green lawns and gardens provides a refreshing environment, stimulating intellectual alertness, creativity and an exotic look. The school building has well planned activity centre, multipurpose hall, library, Computer Lab, Science Labs, Maths Lab, seminar halls, sports facilities and play ground. The campus is fully networked.

The building is a composite structure comprising exposed concrete, exposed brickwork and plastered masonry work as basic materials. Red Agra stone, Kota stone and washed terrazzo are used as primary flooring materials.

This project is a co-ed residential school with a CBSE curriculum educating 240 students per year. It spreads over 10 Acres of land.
The school has two parts;
residential cluster and academic cluster.
The residential cluster comprises of 10 dormitories, 5 studio apartments for warden, residence for the principal and student's centre. The academic cluster consists of 14 classrooms, 3 laboratories, 2 teacher's rooms and 2 toilet blocks. Catering Center with dining hall & adequate service areas have been provided. Presently, the total construction area is 6200 sqm.

Located centrally in Delhi, space itself was a constraint. Its population of 650 students was to be doubled to 1300.The principal challenge was to construct the new building on the existing site without disrupting the existing school that would become redundant eventually. The only constructible space available enveloped the existing premises, presenting construction, phasing and health and safety challenges.
