The 'corner house', as the ZZ team named it when working on it, is an interesting composition of non-aligning planes and faceted forms that is tucked into a quiet residential area. The size of the plot was the first hurdle: a mere 15.5 metres by 5.6 metres. In spite of the existing bye-laws, which seem to be rather stringent, the final outcome is an interesting sculptural form, without any sacrifice of space. The fact that the corner plot had two open sides helped the architects create a structure that is true to the site, both from the interior well as the exterior.
