The first thing that comes to our mind when we hear the word library is 'huge stacks of books in an enclosed space'. The idea of it must have been a fascinating one during the time when books and other forms of print media were the only means to gather information. However, in the world of today, every bit of Information is just
a 'google search' away from us.
Therefore, the need for going to a library and Looking through books has come to an end. Libraries have undergone a drastic fall over the Last few decades since knowledge is not enough to attract. Therefore, Librar~eso f today demand ~nnovation. As technology stepped in, Life became easy and knowledge became handy. People do not have to go to a llbrary for answers
anymore as its core function is now fulfilled by online resources. One common problem with
many of the old Libraries is that it has limited space and an ever-expanding collection.

As a result, the increasing number of shelves  begin to take up the space required by the users. This starts to make people feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed because the space is not enough. The traditional Libraries are only built
for one purpose which is holding a collection of knowledge resources. The library provides different volumes to the user so that the user can find their suitable space. The different volumes provide separate degree of flexibility, openness,
social character and multifunctionality.

The concept is based on compartmentalized flexibility. Transparency between different spaces in a Library helps in inspiring the user to participate in activities that are taking place in the other room. Libraries of todav- su.p.p ort interactive learning, the spaces are designed in a way that they encourage social interaction. As the user moves to upper floors the noise
Levels and flexibility decrease and seriousness of spaces increases.
