Responsibilities towards clients, fellow professionals and general public

1.Urban Planner shall refrain from accepting work outside of their professional competence.
2.Urban Planner shall act with fairness and competence while describing and commenting on the works and views of other professionals and shall not falsely or maliciously injure their professional reputation, prospects or practice.
3.Urban Planner shall not accept an assignment where the services involved are in violation of applicable rules and regulations.
4.Urban Planner shall not disclose any confidential information relating to his clients / employers, in the course of his professional duties, which could be turned to financial advantage.
5.Urban Planner shall share the results of experience and research that contribute to the body of spatial planning knowledge.
6.Urban Planner shall neither attempt to supplant another consultant nor knowingly accept an appointment while the claim of another previously employed consultant remains unsettled.
