Khan Dara Khan was a nobleman in the service of Jahangir in the beginning of the 17th century. The tomb from which these mouldings are taken is near that of Nizamuddin referred on Plate 7

An Idgah is an uncovered place of prayer; this was probably erected by Shumsuddin, the King of Delhi. A.D. 1210-1216
