12.2. Ramp
12.2. रेम्प (Ramp)-
(1) The slope of the proposed ramp for parking shall not exceed 1 : 8 , but the slope of the ramp may be increase to reach a height of up to 1 meter. The ramp gradient shall not be part of the road authority for reaching from the road to the building premises. Minimum width of 3.60 meters shall be maintained for separate entry and exit ramps and 6 meters for the common entry and exit ramp. When constructing the ramp in a set back area, it shall be necessary to have a minimum clear width of 3.60 meters for circulation of fire vehicles around the building, in addition to the ramp. The ramp shall not be considered a part of this circulation space.
(1) पार्किंग हेतु प्रस्तावित रैम्प का ढाल 1 : 8 से अधिक नहीं होगा, परन्तु 1 मी. की ऊंचाई तक पहुंचने के लिये रेम्प की ढाल ज्यादा भी हो सकती है। सड़क से भवन भूखण्ड तक पहुंचने हेतु रेम्पासीढिया किसी भी अवस्था में सड़क के मार्गाधिकार में नहीं होगी। रैम्प आने व जाने के लिए अलग-अलग होने पर न्यूनतम चौड़ाई 3.60 मीटर एवं आने-जाने के लिए एक हो होने पर न्यूनतम चौड़ाई 6 मीटर रखनी होगी। रैम्प का निर्माण सैटयेक मे करते समय यह आवश्यक होगा कि रैम्प के अलावा भवन के चारों ओर अग्निशमन वाहनों के परिसंचरण हेतु गलियारा न्यूनतम 3.60 मी. स्पष्ट उपलब्ध हो। रैम्प को इस गलियारे का भाग नहीं माना जावेगा।
(ii) The slope of the ramp for persons with disabilities and for other uses in hospitals and public buildings, in addition to parking, shall not exceed 1:12.
(ii) अस्पतालों, सार्वजनिक उपयोग के भवनों में पार्किंग के अतिरिक्त अन्य उपयोगों हेतु व विकलांगों हेतु रेम्प का ढाल 1:12 से अधिक नहीं होगा।
(iii) If the ramp is proposed only for two-wheeled vehicles, separate minimum width of 2.0 meters for entry and exit ramps, and for the common entry and exit ramp then it is necessary to have minimum width of 2.7 meters.
(ii) केवल दोपहिया वाहनो हेतु रैम्प प्रस्तावित होने पर आने व जाने के लिए अलग-अलग होने पर रेम्प की न्यूनतम चौडाई 2.0 मीटर एवं आने जाने के लिए एक ही होने पर रेम्प की न्यूनतम चौडाई 2.7 मीटर रखनी आवश्यक होगी।
