- Historical records suggest that the Khandelwal Jains began settling in Maharashtra over 500–600 years ago.
- Today, their presence in Maharashtra is significant, with thriving communities in these towns and cities.
In South India:
- The Khandelwal Jains extended their migration to southern regions such as Aurangabad and Hyderabad.
- Over time, the community became well-integrated into the social and economic fabric of these areas.
Continued Migration:
- The migration process, which began centuries ago, continues even today.
- Families from the Khandelwal Jain community are increasingly settling in South India, drawn by opportunities for commerce, education, and other pursuits.
