1991 Private Investments invited post Liberalization

1995 Ahmadabad Municipal Corporation requested credit rating from CRISIL to launch Municipal Bonds

1998: New Tirupur Area Development Corporation Limited (NTADCL), Tamil Nadu Corporation for Industrial Infrastructure Development Ltd (TACID)  formation

2002   1) Tamil Nadu Urban Development Fund established a trust- Water Pooled   financing

  2) Local currency financing using debt swaps and external commercial   borrowing (ECB)and hedging for risk mitigation

2009 Technical Assistance Fund (TAF) UNAIDS fund For increasing building capacity in various country
