Architectural drawings में कई objects ऐसे होते हैं जो बार-बार use होते हैं – जैसे doors, windows, furniture, fixtures इत्यादि। यदि हम हर बार उन्हें manually modify करें तो यह समय भी लेता है और drawing errors का risk भी बढ़ाता है। यही जगह Dynamic Blocks सबसे उपयोगी साबित होते हैं।

Dynamic Blocks architects को flexibility देते हैं कि एक ही block को अलग-अलग variations में इस्तेमाल किया जा सके – बिना नए block बनाए।

1. What are Dynamic Blocks?

Dynamic Block एक ऐसा block होता है जिसमें parameters और actions set किए जाते हैं।

• Parameters: size, length, angle, visibility etc.
• Actions: stretch, move, scale, rotate, flip इत्यादि।

👉 उदाहरण: एक Window Block जिसमें आप width parameter डाल दें → तो आप वही block 1200mm, 1500mm, 1800mm window के रूप में use कर सकते हैं।

• ✅ Drawing library छोटी और manageable

3. Creating a Dynamic Block

Step 1: Create a Block

1. Draw object (जैसे door)।
2. Command: BLOCK → Name दें → Save करें।

Step 2: Open Block Editor

1. Command: BEDIT
2. Select the block → Block Editor खुलेगा।

Step 3: Add Parameters

• Use Parameters tab (Linear, Polar, Visibility आदि)।
• Example: Door width के लिए Linear Parameter डालें।

Step 4: Assign Actions

• Stretch, Move, Scale, Flip, Rotate जैसी actions parameters से link करें।
• Example: Linear parameter + Stretch action → Door width adjustable।

Step 5: Save and Test

1. Block Editor → Close → Save Changes।
2. Drawing area में block insert करें और variations test करें।

4. Common Dynamic Block Features for Architects

• Stretch: Window या door size बदलने के लिए।
• Flip: Left-hand / Right-hand doors create करने के लिए।
• Visibility States: Same block में multiple versions store करने के लिए (e.g. single window, double window, sliding window)।
• Lookup Table: Standard sizes (जैसे 900, 1000, 1200mm doors) predefined करने के लिए।
• Rotation: Furniture या symbols को quickly rotate करने के लिए।

5. Example Use Cases

• Door Block: Width + Flip parameter = एक ही block से सारे door variations।
• Window Block: Visibility states = Single pane / Double pane / Fixed window।
• Furniture Block: Lookup table = Different chair/table sizes।

📝 Practice Exercise (अभ्यास)

1. एक Door Dynamic Block बनाइए जिसमें Width change करने का option हो।
2. एक Window Dynamic Block बनाइए जिसमें Visibility State से “Single Pane” और “Double Pane” दोनों available हों।
3. एक Table Block बनाइए जिसमें Lookup table से size select किया जा सके।

निष्कर्ष

Dynamic Blocks architects के लिए AutoCAD का सबसे शक्तिशाली tool है। यह repetitive work को minimize करता है और project की efficiency को कई गुना बढ़ा देता है। एक बार Dynamic Block library बना लेने पर architectural drawings बनाना कहीं आसान, तेज़ और standardized हो जाता है।
