By-laws Issued by the Cooperation Department for the Sequential Development of Housing Co-operative Societies
August 24, 2025
सहकारिता विभाग द्वारा गृह निर्माण सहकारी समितियों के क्रमिक विकास हेतु समय-समय पर विभिन्न उपनियम जारी किए गए, जिनका विवरण निम्नानुसार है:-
From time to time, the Co-operation Department has issued various by-laws for the orderly development of housing co-operative societies. The details are as follows:

| 1 | At the time of registration (Year 1948) | Objects of the Society shall be: (a) To buy or acquire land by lease, exchange or otherwise. (b) To lay out land to suit the requirements of members and to prepare plans and estimates for the construction of buildings thereon. | Exhibit–2 |
| 2 | After the Co-operative Societies Act, 1953 – dated 14.11.1963 | Objects of the Society shall be: (a) To buy or acquire land by lease, exchange or otherwise. (b) To lay out land to suit the requirements of members and to prepare plans and estimates for the construction of buildings thereon. | Exhibit–3 |
| 3 | After the Co-operative Societies Act, 1965 – dated 31.07.1972 | Objects of the Society shall be as follows: 1. To buy or acquire residential land by lease, exchange, or otherwise, upon which house construction may be carried out as per the duly approved schemes of the concerned Urban Improvement Trust or Municipality. 2. To prepare building plans for house construction for members, formulate estimates of expenditure thereon, and obtain approval from the concerned Urban Improvement Trust or Municipality. | Exhibit–4 |
