6. भवन निर्माण के लिए आवश्यक आंतरिक मानदण्ड

6.1 भवनों में कमरों / रसोई/शौचालय का न्यूनतम आकार व ऊँचाई निम्नानुसार होगी :-

*आवासीय भवनों में अध्ययन कक्ष एवं घरेलू सेवा सहायक कक्ष (Domestic Service Assistant Room) का क्षेत्रफल 7.5 वर्ग मीटर अनुज्ञेय होगा।

6.1 Minimum Size and Height of Rooms / Kitchen / Toilets

The minimum size and height of rooms, kitchen, and toilets in buildings shall be as follows:

* In residential buildings, the minimum area permitted for a Study Room and Domestic Service Assistant Room shall be 7.5 sq.m.

टिप्पणीः
(i) रिहायशी भवनों हेतु उपरोक्त मानदण्ड 50 व.मी. से ज्यादा क्षेत्रफल के भूखण्डों तथा 30 व. मी. से अधिक कारपेट एरिया (Carpet Area) (आवासीय इकाई की चारों ओर की बाहरी दीवारों के अंदर का क्षेत्रफल जिसमें ओपन टू स्काई, डक्ट, खुली बालकनी आदि शामिल नहीं होगी) की आवासीय ईकाईयों पर ही लागू होंगे।

Notes:

(i) The above standards for residential buildings shall apply only to:

• Plots having an area more than 50 sq.m., and
• Residential units having more than 30 sq.m. carpet area.

(Carpet Area means the area within the inner faces of the external walls of the residential unit, excluding open-to-sky spaces, ducts, open balconies, etc.)

(ii) छात्रावासों के एक व्यक्ति के निवास हेतु आवासीय कमरे के लिये न्यूनतम आकार 7.5 व.मी. होगा।

(ii) For hostels, the minimum size of a single-occupancy residential room shall be 7.5 sq.m.

(iii) रसोई घर/टॉयलेट / शौचालय की ऊँचाई उस भाग में 2.75 मी. से कम हो सकती है जहां ऊपर के फर्श में पानी के निकास हेतु ट्रेप (Sunkan slab) बनाया गया हो।
(iii) The height of kitchen/toilet/W.C. may be reduced below 2.75 meters in the portion where a sunken slab (trap) is provided in the upper floor for water drainage.
