2. परिभाषाएँ :
2.77 Building Height refers to the height of the entire building from the level of the building’s Plinth to the topmost terrace of the building, including the height of all the floors in between.
2.77 ‘ भवन की ऊँचाई’ (Building Height) से भवन की कुर्सी स्तर से समस्त मंजिलों की ऊँचाई को सम्मिलित करते हुए भवन की अंतिम ख्त (टेरेस) तक की ऊँचाई से अभिप्रेत है।
2.78 Campus refers to an area (campus plan) that includes the main use/activity, such as institutional, residential, commercial, or industrial, and any other necessary uses/activities incidental to or associated with it, such as residential, commercial, educational, office, etc. For example, the campus of an engineering college or university includes the main academic activities as well as administrative offices, hostels, faculty housing, shops, auditoriums, and industrial facilities along with residential, educational, and commercial uses.
2.78 ‘परिसर’ (Campus) -परिसर (संस्थागत / आवासीय / वाणिज्यिक / औद्योगिक) से ऐसा क्षेत्र (कैम्पस प्लान) जिसमें मुख्य उपयोग/गतिविधि यथा संस्थागत आवासीय/ वाणिज्यिक / औद्योगिक से संबद्ध (Incidental) अन्य आवश्यक उपयोग / गतिविधियां यथा आवासीय, वाणिज्यिक, शैक्षणिक, कार्यालय आदि भी विकसित की गई हो, अभिप्रेत है। उदाहरणार्थ इंजीनियरिंग कॉलेज परिसर – (कैम्पस), विश्वविद्यालयपरिसर (कैम्पस) में प्रमुख शैक्षणिक गतिविधियों के साथ-साथ प्रशासनिक कार्यालय, हॉस्टल, संकाय आवास, दुकानें, ऑडिटोरियम एवं औद्योगिक परिसर (कैम्पस) में मुख्य उपयोग औद्योगिक के साथ-साथ आवासीय कार्यालय, शैक्षणिक, दुकानें आदि भी स्थित हो।
2.79 ‘Roof Top Restaurant refers to a restaurant that operates on the uppermost floor of the building or as a split level restaurant.
2.79 ‘रूफ टॉप रेस्टोरेंट (Roof Top Restaurant) से ऐसा रेस्टोरेंट जो भवन की सबसे उपरी छत (Uppermost floor) के उसी स्तर पर अथवा स्पिलिट लेवल Split level) के रूप में संचालित हो, अभिप्रेत है।
2.80 Double Height Terrace refers to an open area located outside any room of a residential unit in a multi-storey residential building that has a minimum height of 5.5 meters (double height) and is open on two or more sides along with railings.
2.80 ‘डबल हाईट टैरेस (Double Height Terrace) बहुमंजिला आवासीय भवनों में आवासीय ईकाई के किसी भी कमरे के बाहर स्थित ऐसा खुला क्षेत्र जो कि न्यूनतम 5.5 मीटर की ऊँचाई (डबल हाईट) का हो एवं दो और से रेलिंग सहित खुला हो, अभिप्रेत है।
2.81 ‘Green Cover’ refers to a proposed green area such as farmland, land, roads, etc. that appears dense green from a top view due to dense tree plantation and where each tree covers at least 6 meters in height and 6 meters circumference.
2.81 ‘ग्रीन कवर’ (Green Cover)ग्रीन कवर से भूखण्डों/ भूमि/ सड़कों आदि पर प्रस्तावित ऐसा हरित क्षेत्र जो कि शीर्ष दृष्य (Top View) में सघन वृक्षारोपण से हरित दर्शित होता हो एवं जिसमे प्रत्येक वृक्ष कम से कम 6 मी. की ऊँचाई एवं 6 मी. परिधि क्षेत्र को कवर करता हो, अभिप्रेत है।
2.82 A ‘Studio Apartment‘ refers to a furnished/unfurnished residential unit with a maximum of one sleeping area, a common hall, kitchen, and toilet.
2.82 ‘स्टुडियो अपार्टमेंट (Studio Apartment) से ऐसी फर्नीश्ड / अनफर्नीश्ड निवास ईकाई जिसमें अधिकतम एक शयनक्स, कॉमनहॉल, रसोई एवं शौचालय हो, अभिप्रेत हैं।
2.83 ‘Master Plan‘ or ‘Master Development Plan’ or ‘Zonal Development Plan,’ as applicable, refers to a format plan prepared for an urban area as per the provisions of the Jaipur Development Authority Act, 1982, which incorporates the format plan prepared for that urban area.
2.83 मास्टर प्लान मास्टर डवलपमेंट प्लान (Master Plan/Master Development Plan) जयपुर विकास प्राधिकरण अधिनियम, 1982 के उपबन्धों के अनुसार किसी नगरीय क्षेत्र के लिए तैयार की गयी प्रारूप योजना को सम्मिलित करते हुए कोई मास्टर प्लान या मास्टर डवलपमेंट प्लान या जोनल डवलपमेंट प्लान, जैसा भी लागू हो, अभिप्रेत है।
Note: (a) The words and expressions used in these regulations but not defined shall have the same meanings as assigned to them in the Act.
टिप्पणी:- (क) वे शब्द और अभिव्यक्तियों जो इन विनियमों में लिखी गई है किन्तु इनमें परिभाषित नहीं की गई है, उनका वही अर्थ होगा जैसा कि उनके लिए अधिनियम में निर्धारित किया गया है।
(b) Other definitions not mentioned here shall have the meanings as defined in the National Building Code (NBC).
(ख) अन्य परिभाषाये जो यहां उल्लेखित नहीं है उनका वहाँ अर्थ होगा जैसा उनके लिये राष्ट्रीय भवन संहिता (NBC) में निर्धारित किया गया है।
