श्री दिगम्बर जैन मन्दिर ईश्वरलालजी गोधा
जयपुर के प्राचीन जैन मंदिरों में श्री दिगम्बर जैन मन्दिर ईश्वरलालजी गोधा एक छोटा किन्तु महत्वपूर्ण धार्मिक स्थल है। यह मंदिर हल्दियों के रास्ते में ऊँचे कुएँ के पास स्थित है और जैन समाज की आस्था तथा पारिवारिक भक्ति का सुंदर उदाहरण प्रस्तुत करता है।
Among the Jain temples of Jaipur, Shri Digambar Jain Temple Ishwarlalji Godha is a modest yet significant place of worship. The temple is located in Haldiyon ka Rasta, near Uncha Kua, and reflects the deep devotion and religious dedication of the Jain community.
स्थापना और इतिहास Establishment and History
प्रारम्भ में यह स्थान केवल चैत्यालय के रूप में जाना जाता था, परन्तु बाद में इस पर ऊँचा शिखर बन जाने के कारण इसे पूर्ण रूप से जिन मंदिर के रूप में मान्यता प्राप्त हो गई।
Originally, this shrine was counted among the Chaityalayas (small Jain shrines). However, after the construction of a tall temple spire (Shikhar), it began to be regarded as a full Jain temple.
यह जिनालय स्वर्गीय ईश्वरलाल गोधा के निजी मकान में ही बनवाया गया था। मंदिर के निर्माण की निश्चित तिथि उपलब्ध नहीं है, किन्तु यह ज्ञात है कि विक्रम संवत् 2002 में जोखीराम बैजनाथ सरावगी (कोलकाता निवासी) द्वारा इस मंदिर पर शिखर का निर्माण कराया गया था। इसके पश्चात यह मंदिर एक पूर्ण जिनालय के रूप में प्रतिष्ठित हो गया।
The shrine was built within the private residence of the late Ishwarlal Godha. The exact date of its original construction is not known. Later, in Vikram Samvat 2002, a temple spire was constructed on it by Jokhiram Baijnath Sarawagi of Kolkata, after which the shrine came to be recognized as a proper temple.
मूलनायक और प्रतिमाएँ Principal Deity and Idols
मंदिर के मूलनायक भगवान पार्श्वनाथ हैं। मंदिर में कुल 72 प्रतिमाएँ स्थापित हैं, जो विभिन्न आकार और प्रकार की हैं।
इसके अतिरिक्त यहाँ 18 यंत्र भी स्थापित हैं तथा धातु की 5 मेरु भी सुरक्षित हैं। मंदिर की विशेषता यह है कि सभी प्रतिमाएँ एक ही वेदी में स्थापित हैं, जिससे वेदी अत्यंत भव्य और आकर्षक प्रतीत होती है।
The Mūlanāyaka (principal deity) of the temple is Lord Parshvanath.
The temple houses a total of 72 idols along with 18 sacred yantras. In addition, five metal Meru structures are also preserved here.
A notable feature of this temple is that all the idols are installed on a single altar, which gives the sanctum a distinctive and impressive appearance.
परम्परा और व्यवस्था Tradition and Administration
यह मंदिर तेरहपंथ आम्नाय की परम्परा से संबंधित है और पूजा-अर्चना उसी परम्परा के अनुसार की जाती है।
The temple follows the traditions of the Terahpanth Amnaya. Worship and rituals are performed according to this tradition.
श्री दिगम्बर जैन मन्दिर ईश्वरलालजी गोधा आकार में भले ही छोटा हो, किन्तु अपनी धार्मिक आस्था, पारिवारिक समर्पण और प्राचीन प्रतिमाओं के कारण यह जयपुर के जैन मंदिरों में एक विशेष स्थान रखता है। यह मंदिर जैन समाज की उस परम्परा को दर्शाता है, जिसमें श्रद्धालु अपने निजी निवासों में भी जिनालय स्थापित कर धर्म साधना को आगे बढ़ाते हैं।
Although Shri Digambar Jain Temple Ishwarlalji Godha is relatively small in size, it holds an important place due to its devotional heritage, historical idols, and family dedication. The temple represents a cherished tradition within the Jain community, where devotees establish sacred shrines even within their own residences to continue the practice of worship and spiritual discipline.
